Residence Permit for an Employed Person is intended for foreign nationals (including Indonesian citizens) who have official employment in Finland and plan to stay for more than 90 days. The permit is valid only for work in the specific professional field stated in the permit and the validity period can be extended. During the application process, the employer must also provide detailed information about the job and proof of the applicant’s professional skills on the Employer’s Enter Finland system.
After applying for your residence permit, you will not be able to take home your passport while your visa application is being processed.

To be eligible for this visa, you need to fulfill all of the following conditions:
- Have a valid job offer or contract in Finland, which also registered by the employer on the Employer’s Enter Finland system.
- Relevant qualifications and professional skills, confirmed by employer.
- Minimum income of EUR 1,600 gross per month.
Your passport should be valid for at least 7 months beyond your application date.
