Taiwan Travel Authorization Certificate allows citizens of Indonesia, India, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, or Myanmar to visit Taiwan for up to 14 days. Applicants must hold a valid or recently expired visa or permit from US, Canada, UK, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, Schengen countries, and Taiwan tourist/visitor visa.

Eligible documents include a temporary residence permit, permanent residence card, entry visa (including e-visa), or residence card/visa. Applications can be submitted up to 6 times per year.

Eligibility

Am I eligible for this visa?

To be eligible for this visa, you need to fulfill all of the following conditions:

  1. Passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of arrival.
  2. The applicant must have at least one of the following valid visas from the United States/Canada/United Kingdom/Japan/Australia/New Zealand/South Korea/Taiwan Visitor Visa/Schеngеn countries/EU: a valid temporary residence permit/permanent residence card, or a valid entry visa (including e-visa), or a residence card/visa that expired less than 10 years before arrival in Taiwan.
  3. Applicants using a visa from Australia or New Zealand as a requirement to apply for TAC must have the visa still in active condition or not expired.

You may submit ONE visa from any of the following countries: the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, any Schengen country, or an EU member state. Acceptable documents include a valid temporary residence permit, permanent residence card, entry visa (including e-visa), or a residence card/visa that expired within the last 10 years prior to your arrival in Taiwan.
