Mongolia Business Visitor Visa (K1) is intended for foreign nationals who wish to enter Mongolia for short-term business purposes. Activities may include attending meetings, conferences, trade exhibitions, business negotiations, or exploring investment opportunities.
To be eligible for this visa, you need to fulfill all of the following conditions:
- Have Invitation from a Mongolian business/entity
- Passport must be valid for at least six months from the date of departure.
- There must be no record of visa rejection within the last six months.
Passport should be valid for at least 7 months beyond your application date.
This letter need to be obtained from Inviter in Mongolia
- Official Request from the Inviting Business Entity or Organization. Must clearly state:
- The scope of the organization’s activities
- The duration of the invitee’s stay in Mongolia
- The place where the visa will be issued
- State Registration Certificate of the Legal Entity
- If the entity operates under a special license, the license must also be included
- Tax certificate, covering the last 3 years, excluding the current year
- Social Insurance Certificate, covering 3 years including the current year
- Authorization and ID Documents of the Applicant Employee
- Power of attorney/authorization letter issued by the company
- Employee ID (company-issued ID card)
- National ID card (citizen ID of the employee)
- Size 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm, Max. size 2Mb (2pcs)
- Not older than 7 months
- Has never been used in any other visa.
- File format using *.JPEG/ .JPG/ .PNG in color
- White background
- Proper composition
- No edit allowed
- No accessories is allowed

Proof of Accommodation (Choose one)
- Confirmation page and payment receipt for hotel, resort, camp, or guesthouse located in Mongolia;
If staying with a resident:
- Confirmation letter,
- Copy of the resident’s national ID / or passport copy (if the host is a foreign national),
- Proof of address mentioned in the letter (e.g., property ownership certificate or rental agreement);
If hosted by a tour agency:
- Official letter including travel itinerary, accommodation and campsite addresses, and location details;
If the foreign national is coming to work in rural areas:
- The inviting organization must provide an official letter stating the invitee’s full residential address, including worker accommodation, camp location, and container/house number.
Official government-issued identity card that serves as proof of identity and residence.
