South Africa Remote Work Visa

South Africa Visitor Visa for Prescribed Activity of Remote Work is designed for foreign nationals who need to stay in the Republic of South Africa while working remotely for a foreign employer. This visa applies to individuals employed under a valid contract with a company outside South Africa, where part of their work activities must be conducted while physically present in the country.

This visa allows eligible applicants to reside temporarily in South Africa for the purpose of carrying out remote work duties for their overseas employer. It does not permit employment with a South African company or participation in the local labor market.

The validity of the visa and the stay period granted varies, ranging from 3 months up to a maximum of 3 years, depending on the duration of the applicant’s employment contract.
