Serbia type D visa for Family Reunification is a long-stay multiple-entry visa that allows foreign nationals to reside in Serbia with their family members who are:
- The spouse of a citizen of the Republic of Serbia;
- The spouse of a foreign national who holds a permanent or temporary residence permit in the Republic of Serbia, or who has been granted asylum in the Republic of Serbia;
- A family member of a citizen of the Republic of Serbia or of a foreign national who holds a permanent or temporary residence permit in the Republic of Serbia, or who has been granted asylum in the Republic of Serbia.
This visa allows a stay of 90 to 180 days and can serve as the basis for applying for a Temporary Residence Permit if the applicant wishes to stay longer (up to 3 years, depending on the case).
To be eligible for this visa, you need to fulfill all of the following conditions:
- The applicant is a family member of a family residing in Serbia.
- No visa refusal within the last 3–6 months from any Schengen country.
- Passport must be valid for at least 3 months beyond arrival date in Serbia
Your passport should be valid for at least 7 months beyond your application date.
Clear copy of birth certificate showing full name, date, and place of birth.
- Size: minimum 4 x 3 cm, maximum 7.5 MB
- Must be in color with a white background
- Facial expression must be neutral, with no smiling and the mouth closed
- Must show the full face, with the applicant looking directly at the camera
- Hairline and ears must be visible
- Clothing must be colored and cover the shoulders
- Makeup should be minimal
- Jewelry should be simple
