This service consists of two interconnected components (the application for a residence permit for study purposes and the Student Visa). This visa is intended for Indonesian citizens who plan to study in Hungary for more than 90 days. Applicants cannot apply for the Student Visa separately. Instead, it is automatically issued by the Embassy of Hungary once the residence permit application is approved by the Hungarian immigration authority (NDGAP). The Student Visa is single-entry, valid for a maximum stay of 30 days, and must be used within 3 months from the date of approval. Its purpose is to allow entry into Hungary so the applicant can receive their residence permit card, which will be mailed to the university address or the address provided in the application form.

After applying for your visa, you will not be able to take home your passport while your visa application is being processed. After completion, you can collect your visa and passport at SPUN Operations Office. • If the Type D Visa is not used within 3 months after approval, the approved residence permit will be automatically cancelled, and the entire application process must be restarted.
• If revisions or extra documents are requested, processing may take up to 60 days.
