A visa for foreign entrepreneurs and investors to start companies in Singapore.
To apply for this visa, you need to be :
- Have started, or intend to start, a private limited company that is Registered with ACRA (Pass holder must hold at least 30% of registered company), and
- Venture-backed or owns innovative technologies.
And the pass holder must meet one of these criteria :
- Have raised at least SGD 100,000 from a single funding round from investors for any past or current business, or
- Supported by the incubator or accelerator that is government-recognized or internationally renowned, or
- Founded and sold a business that is venture-backed or owns innovative technologies, or
- Holds Intellectual Property (IP) that is registered with an approved national IP institution, or
- Have a relevant ongoing research collaboration in Singapore with Institute of Higher Learning (IHL) or Research Institution (RI).
Notes :
- If your company already established, it is mandatory to include Certificate of ACRA in Deed of Incorporation field.
- If you have raised SGD 100,000 from investors, you need to submit Investment agreements
- If you are supported by the incubator or accelerator, you need to submit Incubation agreement
- If you found and sold an innovative business that is venture-backed, you need to submit Acquisitions Agreement
- If you hold Intellectual Property (IP), you need to submit IP registration
- If you have a relevant ongoing research collaboration in Singapore, you need to submit Research Collaboration Agreement (RCA)
- For non-English documents, you must upload the original documents and English translation. The translation can be done by a service provider.
- When you get the pass issued, you need to pay for $225 for each pass which does not included in the price provided by SPUN
