Spain Study Visa (Type D) allows international applicants to stay in Spain for more than 90 days to pursue eligible full-time studies, doctoral programs, training, student mobility programs, internships, volunteering, au pair programs, or conversation class assistant programs. This visa is suitable for applicants who have been accepted into an eligible program at an authorized educational, research, training, or other qualifying institution in Spain.

For study stays of up to 6 months, the Spain Student Visa is valid for the entire duration of the stay, and a Foreigner Identity Card (TIE) is not required. For stays longer than 6 months, the visa is initially valid for 90 days, and applicants must apply for a Foreigner Identity Card within 1 month of entering Spain at the relevant Foreign Nationals' Office or Police Station.

After applying for your visa, you will not be able to take home your passport while your visa application is being processed. For physical documents submission or document delivery, you can choose to pick up or collect at SPUN Operations office, or choose for delivery add-on during checkout.
