Spain Family Reunification Visa
Overview
The Spain Family Reunification Visa allows eligible family members of foreign nationals who legally reside in Spain to join and live with them. The family members will be the applicant's sponsor. This visa does not apply to family members of EU, EEA, or Swiss citizens.
The application must be submitted within 2 months after notification of the approved family reunification authorization. The visa is valid for 90 days for entry into Spain. After arrival, the applicant must apply for a Foreigner Identification Card (TIE) within 1 month at the relevant Foreign Nationals’ Office or Police Station.
For this visa application, official government documents such as the Family Certificate, National ID, Police Clearance Certificate, Marriage Certificate, or Divorce Certificate must be translated into Spanish by a sworn translator.

To be eligible for this visa, you need to fulfill all of the following conditions:
Family members who can obtain a family reunification visa
- The spouse, not separated in fact or in law. Reunification cannot be offered to more than one spouse or partner.
- The children of the applicant, the children of the spouse or partner—including adopted children (provided that the adoption is valid in Spain)—and those represented legally by the applicant, provided that they are under the age of 18 or that they have disabilities and are not objectively capable of providing for their own needs due to their health status.
