Germany Voluntary Service Visa is designed for individuals who will participate in volunteer service programs in Germany. These programs include:
- BFD: Federal Voluntary Service
- FSJ: Voluntary Social Year
- FÖJ: Voluntary Ecological Year
- EFD: European Voluntary Service
The duration of these volunteer service programs ranges from 6 to 24 months, typically lasting for one year. The purpose of this stay is to contribute to the public good while also developing personal skills and experiences.
The price listed is only a service fee from SPUN. Applicants must pay the visa fee independently at the time of the appointment using a personal credit card in the amount of EUR 75 for adults.
For physical documents submission or document delivery, you can choose to pick up or collect at SPUN Operations office, or choose for delivery add-on during checkout.

- If the biometric appointment is conducted in Surabaya or Bali, an additional fee may apply.
Please upload a scan of all pages of your current passport that contain immigration stamps or visas, from the identity page to the last endorsement page.
Contract/Agreement regarding your voluntary service in Germany (original and copy)
- BFD: Your contract must be signed by you and the German Federal Office for Family and Civil Society Functions (Bundesamt für Familie und zivilgesellschaftliche Aufgaben/BAFzA), as well as the hosting institution, main center, and if required, the organizer (Träger) responsible for providing the Social Service.
- FSJ/FÖJ: Your contract must be signed by you and the responsible organizer (Träger), and if required, the hosting institution.
- EFD: Your contract must be signed by the National Erasmus Agency and the coordinating organization (Nationalen Agentur Erasmus+ Jugend in Aktion und der koordinierenden Organisation).
The voluntary service agreement must outline the tasks and learning outcomes, and it must be signed by both the coordinating organization and the participant.
Proof of qualifications can be a diploma, certificate or proof of employment with German or English translation (original and one photocopy).
A school diploma requires legalization or an Apostille along with a translation. When applying for a visa, an Indonesian diploma must have proof (Apostille) and translation.
