Switzerland Student Visa
Overview
Switzerland Student Visa is an entry permit required for non-EU/EEA citizens, including Indonesian nationals, who plan to pursue studies in Switzerland for more than 90 days. This visa covers various levels of education, such as Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD programs, vocational schools, as well as accredited language courses in Switzerland.
The type of visa to apply for is the National Visa Type D (Swiss Long-Stay Student Visa). Upon arrival in Switzerland, students must continue the process by applying for a residence permit at the immigration office of the canton where they will be living.
A visa serves as an entry permit and must be followed by a residence permit no later than 14 days after arrival.

To be eligible for this visa, you need to fulfill all of the following conditions:
- The proof of intended study in Switzerland, such as Letter of Acceptance from university.
- No visa rejection in the past 3-6 months for any Schengen country.
- Passport is valid for a whole study period.
