Sri Lanka Business Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA)
Overview
Sri Lanka Business Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) is a temporary electronic entry permit issued by the Government of Sri Lanka for foreign nationals who wish to make a short visit to Sri Lanka for business purpose without having to apply for a visa at the embassy. The visa is valid for double entry with a validity period of 30 days.
Allowed activities:
- Participate in business meeting and negotiation
- Participate in seminar, conference and workshops
- To take part in short term training program
- Participate in art, music and dance events
- Participate in religious events
- Participate in symposium
Not allowed activities:
- Engage in Business/Trade activities,
- Engage in employment paid/unpaid, self –employment
- Live in Sri Lanka for a long period through frequent or successive visits.

To be eligible for this visa, you need to fulfill all of the following conditions:
- Must possess an invitation letter from the inviter in Sri Lanka.
- No visa rejection in the past 3-6 months from Sri Lanka.
- No record of overstaying in any country.

General
These documents apply to everyone and those marked with * are mandatory.
Passport
Passport should be valid for at least 7 months beyond your application date.
National ID (KTP)
Official government-issued identity card that serves as proof of identity and residence.
Flight booking
Please provide your flight booking details, including the flight number for your arrival and departure, or you can purchase a flight booking service here.
Invitation from Local Company
Information/invitations/correspondence from government agency or Indonesian private institution explaining the business relationship with applicants.
Certificate of employment
Certificate of Current Employment :
- Printed with letterhead
- Wet-stamped
- Wet-signed by the person in charge
- Include details of address of company, job title, join date, contact person of responsible person
- A statement in the employment proof should indicating the period during which the company grants the applicant permission to travel (e.g., from February 1st, 2025, to February 7th, 2025).
- A statement should confirming that the applicant will return to Indonesia after the specified period.
