Sri Lanka Business Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) is a temporary electronic entry permit issued by the Government of Sri Lanka for foreign nationals who wish to make a short visit to Sri Lanka for business purpose without having to apply for a visa at the embassy. The visa is valid for double entry with a validity period of 30 days.

Allowed activities:

• Participate in business meeting and negotiation
• Participate in seminar, conference and workshops
• To take part in short term training program
• Participate in art, music and dance events
• Participate in religious events
• Participate in symposium

Not allowed activities:

• Engage in Business/Trade activities,
• Engage in employment paid/unpaid, self –employment
• Live in Sri Lanka for a long period through frequent or successive visits.
