Overview
Sri Lanka Business Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) is a temporary electronic entry permit issued by the Government of Sri Lanka for foreign nationals who wish to make a short visit to Sri Lanka for business purpose without having to apply for a visa at the embassy. The visa is valid for double entry with a validity period of 30 days.
Allowed activities:
- Participate in business meeting and negotiation
- Participate in seminar, conference and workshops
- To take part in short term training program
- Participate in art, music and dance events
- Participate in religious events
- Participate in symposium
Not allowed activities:
- Engage in Business/Trade activities,
- Engage in employment paid/unpaid, self –employment
- Live in Sri Lanka for a long period through frequent or successive visits.

- Must possess an invitation letter from the inviter in Sri Lanka.

My experience with SPUN was not smooth in the beginning, communication via what’s app was lagging however email team were very responsive.
