Rumania Employment/Work Visa (D/AM) is a type of long-term visa granted to foreign nationals, including Indonesian citizens, who intend to work in Romania based on an official work permit issued by the Romanian Immigration Office registered in Romania. This visa does not apply to seconded workers
A long-stay visa for employment may also be granted to applicant without a work permit, if they fall under the following categories:
- Foreign nationals whose access to the Romanian labor market is regulated by treaties, conventions, or international agreements to which Romania is a party.
- Foreign nationals carrying out educational, scientific, or other special temporary activities within accredited institutions in Romania, based on bilateral agreements or upon order of the relevant minister.
- Foreign nationals assigned to perform temporary activities in Romania at the request of ministries, central or local public authorities, or autonomous administrative authorities.
- Foreign nationals appointed as heads of branches, representative offices, or subsidiaries of foreign companies in Romania, provided that they are not registered as shareholders, members, or administrators of a Romanian company at the time of visa application.
In such cases, the applicant is required to obtain an Endorsement of the Romanian Immigration Office for the visa application.
To be eligible for this visa, you need to fulfill all of the following conditions:
- The proof of intended work in Romania.
- No visa rejection in the past 3-6 months for any Schengen country.
- Passport is valid for at least 3 months after the visa expired.
