Overview

This visa allows international students to enter Finland immediately after their residence permit is approved, without waiting for the physical residence permit card. It is temporary and only valid when accompanied by an approved residence permit from Migri (Finnish Immigration Service). If you haven't applied for a residence permit yet, click here to apply for it together with the visa.

After applying, the passport cannot be taken home until the visa process is complete. After completion, you can collect your visa and passport at SPUN Operations Office. Alternatively, you can also book this delivery service for delivery within Jakarta, or book this delivery service for delivery to other cities outside Jakarta.

Notes: The visa validity period must overlap with the issued residence permit card for at least one day.

The proof of intended study in Finland & approved Residence Permit.
Proof of sufficient funds (minimum balance of EUR 9,600/year or EUR 800/month) if you're not funded by scholarship.
No visa rejection in the past 3-6 months for any European country.
