This visa is a long-term residence visa required for foreign nationals who intend to pursue education in Turkey. It applies to:
- Undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs
- Turkish language courses
- Student exchange programs (Erasmus, Mevlana, Farabi)
- Vocational training or official internship programs
- Long-term studies (over 90 days)
Note: Upon arrival in Turkey, students are required to obtain a residence permit for long-term stay during their studies.
To be eligible for this visa, you need to fulfill all of the following conditions:
- Letter of Acceptance from the Turkiye Educational Institution.
- The passport must be valid for at least six months.
- The passport must contain at least two blank visa pages.
- Valid for minimum period of 6 months at the time of travel
- Single name passports are not accepted
- Softcopy size maximum 200KB
- New photos, no older than six months; never been used in any previous visas
- Plain white photo background
- Photo size 2x2 inches (5x5 cm) or 600x600 to 1200x1200 pixels in digital version;
- Faces take up 70% of the photo
- Eye glasses are not allowed to be worn for US Visa photos
- No edit allowed
