Taiwan Student Visa is a type of visa granted to international student planning to study in Taiwan at recognized educational institutions, such as universities, or Mandarin language schools. This visa is applicable to:
- Foreign Students (including international students and overseas Chinese) for undergraduate/graduate/postgraduate degrees
- Overseas Chinese Students for Academic Preparation Programs
- Students receiving scholarships from Taiwan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs
- Students receiving Mandarin language scholarships
- Students participating in cooperation programs between the Taiwan and Indonesia governments, awards, and assistance from Taiwan's Ministry of Education for short-term research for foreigners - Exchange students based on cooperation agreements between universities in Taiwan and universities abroad
- Students studying Mandarin for a duration of more than 2 months.

To be eligible for this visa, you need to fulfill all of the following conditions:
- Sufficient funds to cover the stay in Taiwan.
- Official Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from school, university, or institution in Taiwan.
- No record of Taiwan visa rejection in the past six months.
Your passport should be valid for at least 7 months beyond your application date.

- File format using *.JPEG/ .JPG/ .PNG in color
- Min. 400x600px, Max. size 2Mb
- Proper composition
- No edit allowed
- Provide 2 pcs if this section contains "require physical document" mark

Letter of Acceptance or Certificate of Enrollment/registration proof, and the latest transcript (original and photocopy) and should include:
- Include the major, degree, and duration of schooling in Mandarin and English
- List the language of instruction
- Must include the latest date of arrival in Taiwan or the start date of the semester
- Attach an original hard copy (not an electronic file)
Provide a certified copy of your academic transcripts and educational certificate (Degree, Diploma etc.) or letter/statement from your Overseas Education Institution. For overseas graduates, the documents must be apostilled.
Statement letter has never had the status of an overseas Chinese student. You can use the template provided here
