Every foreign national wishing to work in Brunei Darussalam must possess a valid work visa authorized by the Department of Immigration and National Registration and issued by the Embassy of Brunei Darussalam. However, citizens of Malaysia and Singapore are exempted from this work visa requirement.
Before applying for a work visa in Brunei Darussalam, applicants must already have an official employment contract from their employer in Brunei Darussalam. This employment contract must be reported to the relevant government agency, and once approved, the contract or an Invitation Letter will be forwarded to the Embassy of Brunei Darussalam in Jakarta.
Notes:
- Medical examination results that will expire within 2 weeks must undergo a re-examination.
To be eligible for this visa, you need to fulfill all of the following conditions:
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
- The applicant must have a valid work contract from the Brunei Darussalam.
- The sponsoring employer must have a valid trade license.
- Size 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm, Max. size 2Mb
- Not older than 6 months
- File format using *.JPEG/ .JPG/ .PNG in color
- White background
- Proper composition
- No edit allowed
- No accessories is allowed
