United Arab Emirates Transit Visa

This visa is available in two types: a 48-hour or 96-hour stay, both ideal for travelers with business meetings, stopovers, or short stays transit to onward destination, exclusively for Emirates or Etihad flight ticket holders. The 48-hour visa is valid for a single entry and is suited for those staying less than two days, while the 96-hour visa is suited for travelers staying less than four days. Both visas are valid for 30 days from the date of issue, activated when you enter the UAE, and are non-extendable.

If you are traveling to United Arab Emirates for maximum of 30 days, you can apply for a United Arab Emirates Single Visa.

Notes :

• The visa application process can only be done 30 days before the departure time
• If the name on the Bio Page/main page of the passport has only 1 syllable, then it is mandatory to attach an Endorsement Page / name addition (Page 4)
• If the name on the Bio Page starts with the name ABDUL/ABDULLAH, then it must have 3 syllables. For example, if it is only ABDUL RAHIM, it is counted as a single name/1 syllable name and requires an additional name.
• If you apply for a 48-hour transit visa, and plan to stay more than 24 hours, please provide a hotel booking confirmation that you can upload in the Hotel Booking form. But, if you only plan to transit for no more than 24 hours, then there is no need to attach a hotel booking.
• If you apply for a 96-hour transit visa, please provide Bank Statement for last 3 months which you can upload in Bank Statement form.
• For Etihad flight ticket holders, the transit will be via Zayed International Airport, Abu Dhabi.
• For Emirates flight ticket holders, the transit will be via Dubai International Airport, Dubai.
