France Student Visa
Overview
This visa is intended for Indonesian students who will take part in a training or study program in France with a duration of more than six months. The French government will issue a Long Term Visa (Visa de Long Séjour – VLS-TS) which is equivalent to a residence permit. To apply for this visa, students must complete the entire Études En France (EEF) process with Campus France first.
This visa allows the holder to:
- Live legally in France during the study period,
- Attend lectures, professional training or language courses,
- Access public services such as student health insurance,
- And have the right to work part-time on a limited basis (max. 964 hours per year).
After arriving in France, visa holders are required to complete additional formalities, such as: registering and validating the visa online on the OFII (Office Français de l'Immigration et de l'Intégration) website, paying administrative fees, and if the study period exceeds one year, processing a titre de séjour (residence permit) at the local prefectural office.
After applying, the passport cannot be taken home until the visa process is complete. For physical documents submission or document delivery, you can choose to pick up or collect at SPUN Operations office, or choose for delivery add-on during checkout.
Eligibility
Am I eligible for this visa?
To be eligible for this visa, you need to fulfill all of the following conditions:
- Applicant must complete the entire Études En France (EEF) process with Campus France first.
- You can show proof of sufficient funds to cover your entire stay (proof of income of at least EUR 615/month).
- No visa rejection in the past 3-6 months for any European country.
