ITAS (Izin Tinggal Terbatas) is the name for Indonesian Limited Stay permit. This visa is for elderly foreign who wish to spend their retirement in Indonesia.

Notes: Kindly be aware that the eligibility for this visa;

  • Be at least 55 years old
  • Not plan to work while in Indonesia
  • Have both life and health insurance
  • Possess a residence in Indonesia with a rental contract at least 12 months
  • Proof of a deposit or retirement account with at least USD 18,000
  • Agree to hire a domestic helper upon receiving the KITAS.

At least 18 months of validity for 1-year ITAS, or minimum 30 months of validity for 2-year ITAS

Proof of Government Payment - ITAS Offshore

Required payment amounting to U$D 150 directly to Indonesian government if you are applying for an Offshore ITAS. It is mandatory to process it through page here

Proof of pension fund

You will need a minimum of 2,000 per month or 24,000 per year from retirement income OR investments to provide your living expenses during your stay
