Visa processing by embassies may be delayed due to the year-end high season. We recommend applying early and adjusting your travel date.
Indonesia Bridging Visa (Temporary Stay Permit) is a solution for extending the residence period of foreign nationals in Indonesia while waiting for a new visa. This service helps to avoid overstaying and ensures smooth activities in Indonesia.
This service can be used by foreign nationals who will apply for a status change to a Limited Stay Permit (ITAS). Foreign nationals holding this Bridging Visa are not subject to overstaying if their Temporary Stay Permit application is approved after the validity period of the previous residence permit expires. The validity period of the Bridging Visa is 60 days and is only valid onshore, specifically for foreign nationals who are already in the territory of Indonesia. This bridging visa becomes invalid if the foreign national leaves Indonesian territory.
Examples of its use include:
- While waiting for the extension process of ITAS that has expired
- While changing sponsors and awaiting approval for a new visa
- When submitting a change from ITAS Investor to another type of ITAS.
To be eligible, you need to fulfill all of the following conditions:
